This Agreement is between Michael Streete Foundation (MSFDN) (the "Client", "us", "our", "we") and the Street Team Contractor ("you", "your"). It outlines the terms of your engagement as an independent contractor to provide services as part of the MSFDN Street Team.
TERM
This Agreement shall commence upon signing and remain in effect until terminated by either party. Termination requires at least 1 week’s written notice by either party, unless otherwise stated in this Agreement.
ELIGIBILITY
Participation in the MSFDN Street Team is open to individuals aged 16 and above.
13-15-year-olds may participate on weekends and school holidays under specific conditions, with parental consent, a valid work permit, and a Buddy assigned to them for guidance.
To join the MSFDN Street Team, you are required to register and provide accurate information, including contact details. Failure to provide accurate information or any violation of these terms may result in the termination of your membership at MSFDN’s discretion.
APPOINTMENT
Authority to Engage in Outreach and Fundraising: We appoint you as our non-exclusive contractor to engage in outreach, fundraising, and promotional campaigns in the United Kingdom. You accept this appointment under the terms outlined here.
Authority to Collect Payment: You are authorised to collect funds from the public on our behalf as part of the fundraising campaigns.
No Authority to Bind: You shall not hold yourself out as having the authority to bind us legally unless expressly provided by written consent.
ROLES
When you join the MSFDN Street Team, you may be allocated to one of the following roles, depending on your experience, performance, and availability:
Outreacher / Vendor
- Responsible for directly engaging with the public to secure donations.
- Tasked with meeting specific per-shift targets for contributions.
- Works under the supervision of Team Leaders and reports daily performance.
Team Leader
- Oversees a group of Outreachers / Vendors during shifts.
- Provides guidance, support, and ensures that the team adheres to MSFDN’s mission and guidelines.
- Monitors performance and provides feedback to team members.
- Reports daily team results to the Street Team Manager.
Street Team Manager
- Manages multiple Team Leaders and oversees the overall coordination of street team activities.
- Responsible for setting shift goals, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and managing logistics.
- Conducts performance reviews, offers training, and resolves issues within the team.
Your role will be confirmed upon joining the Street Team, and you may be promoted to higher roles based on your performance and contributions.
DUTIES
Sales and Results-Oriented Role: This is a results- and sales-oriented role, where you will be expected to meet certain targets per shift. Your primary responsibility is to drive fundraising contributions and public engagement in line with our campaign goals.
- Per-Shift Targets: You will be provided with performance targets at the beginning of each shift.
- Contribution to Campaign Goals: Your performance will directly contribute to the overall success of our outreach initiatives.
- Commission Basis: Your earnings are based on the commission model (outlined below), incentivizing you to meet and exceed your sales goals.
WORK SCHEDULE
Individuals aged 16 and 17: Agree to work a minimum of 5 hours per day (12 p.m. to 5 p.m.) on assigned campaigns.
13-15-Year-Olds: Restricted to working on weekends or during school holidays, with a maximum of 5 hours per day on Saturdays and school holidays.
BUDDY SYSTEM FOR 13-15 YEAR-OLDS
All participants aged 13-15 will be assigned a Buddy—an experienced team member who will guide and support them during their activities on the MSFDN Street Team.
CONFIDENTIALITY AND NON-DEFAMATION
Confidentiality: You agree that, during and after your engagement with MSFDN, you will not disclose any confidential information relating to MSFDN’s business, clients, operations, strategies, or financial information.
Non-Defamation and Misrepresentation: You agree that you will not engage in any behaviour that could harm the reputation or integrity of MSFDN, its employees, partners, or clients.
Legal Action for Breach: In the event of a breach, MSFDN reserves the right to take legal action.
GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where MSFDN operates.
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter through good faith negotiations.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND AGREEMENT
