‘MY iD – BY INDUSTRY …MUSIC x MEDIA’  is a transformative 12 week workshop designed to provide aspiring musicians and media enthusiasts with the opportunities and resources required to kick start or elevate a career within the creative industries. Our agenda consists of providing participants with industry knowledge, production skills and opportunity to professionally write, record and edit!

A 12 WEEK WORKSHOP ALLOWING YOUTH TO EXPLORE, EXPRESS AND ELEVATE MUSIC & MEDIA TALENTS AND BOOST INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE. 

‘MY iD – BY INDUSTRY… MUSIC’ isn’t any ordinary workshop; it’s a spotlight showcasing and giving youth the chance to unleash their creative potential and learn key professional skills along the way.

Our workshop is a symphony of change. It’s taking centre stage in a community where the world may often seem out of tune. Combining our resources and expertise with talented participants will leverage those involved to showcase talents, build confidence and excel in achieving aspirations.

What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid does not cost you a penny more, but can add an additional 25p to every £1 you donate. When MSFDN - Michael Streete Foundation receives a donation from a UK taxpayer, we're entitled to claim an amount of tax (calculated at the basic rate of income tax in that year) paid on that donation. Once you have given your permission for us to do this on your behalf, there is no need for you to do anything else.

All that is required is that you must be a taxpayer and that would have paid or will pay sufficient Income and/or Capital Gains Tax to cover all the Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year. Please note that it is your responsibility to pay any difference.

The amount of tax we claim will be 25% of the total value of your donations in that tax year. Furthermore, if you are a higher taxpayer, you are also entitled to claim the difference between the basic rate which we will claim and the amount of tax you have actually paid. For further details on how you can do this, please contact your tax office. If your tax situation changes and your gifts will no longer be eligible for the Gift Aid scheme please contact us and we will amend your record accordingly.

This holistic approach not only equips individuals for success in creative industries but also fosters a range of transferable skills vital for professional advancement.

 

MSFDN leads its members to become thriving, successful professionals,
creators and entrepreneurs, embarking on a journey celebrating diverse talent, skills, and practical experiences whilst maintaining wellbeing & welfare
throughout the process.

 

From employability, wellbeing and business & enterprise to enrichment and career progression routes, MSFDN offer members an engaging environment designed to foster growth, development and opportunity.
These offerings include:

 

TRAINING & EDUCATION (VOCATIONAL / ACCREDITED): A flexible learning
environment through online, in-person, or hybrid formats, featuring courses, apprenticeships, internships, traineeships, sessions, bootcamps, and retreats.

 

MSFDN INITIATIVES: Members immerse in real world life and career experiences across a range of unique and creative environments, including established ventures like magazine publishing, choirs, dance troupes, and various professional teams, which have been carefully developed to offer structured and enriching opportunities for skill-building, networking, and personal and professional growth. These established ventures serve as dynamic platforms for members to hone their talents, collaborate with peers, and gain valuable insights into their chosen fields.

 

PROGRAMMES: A core activity of the MSFDN Ecosystem, members can engage in Programmes structured to target key areas of personal, professional or creative support such as mentorship, grants, peer-to-peer connecting, networking, business & enterprise, and skill development.

 

SUPPORT SERVICES: To compliment a members life and career journey, MSFDN offer a range of health, wellbeing and welfare personalised assistance through 1:1 sessions, small group settings, or specialised support cohorts.
